Monsters on Ice

A few years back I fell in love with this painting A Winter Scene on a Frozen Canal by Hendrick Avercamp... 

It got me thinking about doing a riff off of it, but with a slightly different cast of characters...

Sometime later it was a happy reveleation when I came across James Ensor's Baths of Ostends...

I decided that I wanted my image to be a combination of the two...
